Don’t your pets deserve a special day set aside just to enrich their lives and give them joy? That’s the idea behind Pet Happiness Day, which will be held every year on the first Saturday after Mother’s Day from now on!
I came up with the idea watching how many of us were kept sane and happy by our pets during the pandemic and sheltering at home, and wanting to return the favor somehow. That “somehow” includes everything from walks and snuggles to massage, building your cat a catio or setting up some agility equipment in the backyard, making or buying them food and treat puzzles and games… the list could go on forever!
Today, do one thing to make your pet happy, and then tell the world about it on your social media with hashtag #PetHappinessDay. Feel free to share one of the graphics below if you’d like, but I’d rather see actual pictures of your pets being enriched, spoiled, and generally having fun with you!
