Imagine you’re a waitress with three kids, working three jobs, and worried sick about your dog, Tucker, who is at the veterinary hospital having emergency surgery. Then imagine your customers leave you a tip for $1000 to help pay Tucker’s veterinary bill.
That’s exactly what happened to New Jersey’s Christina Summitt, proving there really are good people in the world.
I am offering my prayers of gratitude for these strangers’ kindness to Tucker and his human family, and also for Tucker’s quick and full recovery.
By the way, Summitt volunteers for a pit bull rescue group and has a pawprint tattoo. She told WBTW News she’d have done anything to help her dog. Sounds like the kind of person good things should happen to!
