A goat named Mr. G nearly starved himself to death after being separated from his best friend, a burro named Jellybean — until dedicated rescuers reunited them!
Mr. G had lived for years in a neglectful haording situation with only Jellybean for company. When they were finally rescued, Mr. G went to the Animal Place sanctuary and Jellybean to a different organization that was experienced with burros.
And then Mr. G stopped eating or moving. For six horrible days he lay in his stall, and never once went outside or took a bite of food — until the day a volunteer made the 14-hour trip to bring Jellybean back to his best friend.
