Everyone wants to save money on their pet expenses, but no one wants to do it at the cost of the pet’s health or well-being. I recently was interviewed for Kristen Levine Pet Living TV on exactly how to do that, and here are some of my tips:
1. Feed a high quality food, recommended by your veterinarian. This doesn’t mean you have to buy pet food from your veterinarian–just get their recommendation, based on where you plan to buy your pet food.
2. Offer pets some kind of daily oral care. Take advantage of a their desire to chew. Use Milk-bone Brushing Chews, Greenies or C.E.T. HEXtra Chews with enzymes.
